HIGH THERAPEUTIC QUALITY

Anti-decubitus mattress with compressor

This pressure-relieving mattress , thanks to its increased cell height, is recommended for patients at risk of Grade 3/Medium Risk (Braden Scale 13-15 points). It does not require an additional base mattress.
The pressure-relieving mattress is made of polyvinyl chloride, a highly flexible material. It consists of channels that are alternately inflated by an air compressor connected to an electrical outlet. This movement continuously changes the pressure on different areas of the body, thus improving blood circulation.

The pressure-relieving mattress effectively distributes weight to prevent ulcers and promote the healing of existing ones. It minimizes pressure on the most sensitive areas for better protection.

Anti-decubitus mattresses

Pressure-relieving mattresses are used for people who have to spend long periods of time in bed, as continuous pressure on bony prominences can cause injuries. This is because it impedes proper blood circulation and, consequently, tissue nourishment. Wounds develop that lead to necrosis and ulceration, known as pressure sores. Beyond the discomfort and pain these wounds can cause, it has been shown that they negatively impact patient mortality rates. Quality of life is substantially diminished, and the periods of bed rest for affected individuals are prolonged. In this article, we will discuss a solution to this common yet serious problem: pressure-relieving mattresses, including their prices and types.

Encapsulation

Thanks to the compression-resistance properties of HR foam, support is provided. The foam encapsulation allows the mattress to be placed directly on the bed frame, preventing the user from coming into contact with the frame. Furthermore, the side panels allow the user to sit down and reposition themselves without sinking in.

Alternative therapy

It is based on alternating, uniform changes in cell pressure to provide better pressure redistribution for the patient and prevent pressure points in the mattress. This therapy improves the user's blood circulation and achieves very low capillary occlusion rates, preventing the development of pressure ulcers.
